About FVDES

Anne Williams

Hello! I'm starting my 5th year of teaching this year.  I graduated from the University of British Columbia and in addition to teaching Grade 6, I also teach ESL at FVDES.  I grew up in Chilliwack and I love to travel.  My farthest trip so far has been to Costa Rica – it was great!  My favorite color is pink.  I learned to scuba dive this year.  Scuba diving is something that I have always wanted to learn how to do.  I enjoy running, reading, sewing and hiking.  Snowboarding is also something new that I am learning.  Mysteries are my favorite type of story and Sherlock Holmes stories are my favorite mysteries to read.   This is my first year at FVDES and I am very excited about this job because I love teaching Grade 6.  I did my teaching practicum in a grade 6 class in Coquitlam.  Once I graduated from university I taught English and Math at Sardis Sr. Secondary.  I then taught grade 7 and 8 at A.D. Rundle Middle School and for the last 2 years I have been teaching English at Sardis Senior Secondary.  This is my first year at FVDES.I look forward to working with all of my students and their families during the school year.
