About FVDES

Elizabeth Baker

Hello! I teach Grade 7 here at FVDES. I was born and grew up in North Vancouver after high school I moved to Prince George to attend The University of Northern British Columbia. I graduated four years later with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science. Subsequently I worked for a number of private biological labs before finding my passion, Education. I returned to school and attended the University of British Columbia and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors or Education (Elementary). Last year I worked in the Chilliwack School District as a TOC before joining the wonderful team of teachers here at FVDES.

I now live in Abbotsford with my husband, who is currently training to be a teacher, and our two cats. In our spare time we belong to a Medieval Society in which we pursue all manner of medieval endeavors through a combination of research and living history.
