About FVDES Gail Vodden I received my Bachelor of Secondary Education (Physical Education and Commerce) from the University of British Columbia in 1977. I completed my Masters Degree in Educational Administration in 1990 with the University of Victoria. I began my career in Chilliwack as a physical education teacher and counsellor at Vedder Junior Secondary School, nearly thirty years ago. Over the years I have been a teacher, a counsellor, a coach, and an administrator in the Chilliwack School District. I love being able to have a positive effect on students. and my role as a counsellor has provided me with the opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of students and their families. I look forward to working with the students of Fraser Valley Distance Education School. One of my hobbies is training dogs. I own and compete with a ten-year-old Sheltie and four-year-old Border Collie. I also instruct other handlers and have my own training centre. My husband and I also work on our farm and enjoy gardening and running around after our cows! I look forward to travelling in our RV on my vacation time. « Back |
