About FVDES

Leslie Waddington

Hi, I'm Leslie Waddington and I'm thrilled to be the newest member of the FVDES staff.

My teaching career spans three provinces and a variety of grades. Within the Chilliwack School District I've taught at East Chilliwack Elementary, Mt. Slesse Middle School and at G.W Graham Middle Secondary School. In addition to these teaching assignments, I've also had a two year secondment as a Faculty Associate with the Education Department of Simon Fraser University where I supervised, taught, and mentored student teachers. I have continued my contact with future teachers as a part-time faculty member of the UFV Teacher Education program.

Since 2007 I've been busy with vice-principal duties, first at Vedder Elementary School and now at FVDES where I am very excited to take on the challenges and rewards of distance education. Plus, I look forward to meeting and working with all of you.
