Stephen Halischuk

My teaching career began in Montreal, where I grew up and attended McGill University. I taught high school Physical Education there for 6 years before moving to British Columbia. It was 1991 when I was hired to teach PE and Humanities at A.D. Rundle Junior High School, now ADR Middle School. I spent 12 very enjoyable years at Rundle teaching, coaching and counselling some wonderful students. I then had an opportunity to teach at a public middle school in Bermuda and spent 3 exciting years there teaching Physical Education and Health classes (and also had a weekly radio show). My wife and I moved back to the Fraser Valley in the Fall of 2007 and I am very happy to now be a counsellor here at Fraser Valley Distance Education School.
