Principal

Welcome to Fraser Valley Distance Education School. I am proud to be the Principal of such a talented and dedicated staff. I began my career in Williams Lake teaching Physical Education and Counseling at the Middle and Secondary school levels. In the 80’s my family moved to Chilliwack and after taking time out to be at home with my children I began teaching in the Chilliwack School District. I taught English, Socials, Science and Math grades 8-12. From 1990 to 1992, during the summers I completed my Masters at the University of Victoria and became the Principal of Chance Alternate School, and later the District Principal for Alternate Education. In 1999 I became a Vice-Principal at Sardis Secondary and in 2004 came to FVDES. I look forward to getting to know you as clients at our school.
