Summer Session (Advanced Credit Program) July 7th - Aug 1st

This summer FVDES is offering a variety of online courses that will enable students to gain advanced credit towards their grade 12 graduation program. Our courses are free for all school-age BC residents in grades 10,11 and 12.

Registration Requirements
• Recommended C+ in prerequite course.
• Only one course may be taken in Advanced Credit program.
• Students must be available online in the mornings (Mon - Fri)
Students cannot take vacations during the summer course

Students not Meeting Advanced Credit Criteria
Students in grades 10, 11 and 12 who do not meet Advanced Credit criteria can enrol in paper-based courses at no cost after July 1st. There are face-to-face sessions available in Chilliwack from July 9 - Aug 3 to support paper-based students.

Online Course Features:
• Pre-training to ensure students understand exactly how courses work
• School-based technical support for any computer problems
• Weekly meetings between teachers and students
(either face-to-face or through our live online classrooms)
• Daily teacher support to ensure students are successful
• Closure of courses and wrap-up by teachers on last day
