(Article about Trojans, Virusses, Malware, Scareware) Examples for locating your problem in the tree on the left: Let's say you have issues with logging into FirstClass, getting the dreaded "Error: Server not found" error code. FirstClass is a software = software problem. So, in the tree on the left, locate "Software Issues", follow that branch to "FirstClass", then to "Error: Server not found". Click on that link and follow the nice illustrated step-by-step guide. And ... you're done! Another example. Your sound in vClass is not working as it should. You can hear the others but your microphone seems to be dead. This is clearly a hardware problem. So, in the tree on the left, locate "Hardware Issues", follow that branch to "No Sound in vClass". Now you have to select which platform you are on, Mac or PC. Mac is - as always - easy. PC, not so much, as the variations on sound hardware and drivers are huge. If you follow the illustrated step-by-step guides, 99.9% of the time this will fix the problem or make you realize what is wrong (e.g. that an iMac has NO microphone port). |
