This is a Board Authority Authorized (BAA) 2 credit course that will help students understand what apprenticeship is all about and how it can benefit the student. The main purpose of this course is to introduce the future apprentice to the Industry Training Authority (ITA), which is the governing body for industry training, certification and standards for the province of BC. Also, it will give the student some insight as to whether the trade option is an appropriate career choice. By investigating and researching the various apprentice trades students will discover the many trade options open to them.
