Celebrating their own party's (brief) history was an important part of the Nazi effort to mold their own party mythology. The "sacrifice" made at the ill-fated Munich Beer Hall Putsch is a common topic in Nazi stamps.

The upper right-hand stamp's inscription reads, "And Despite All, You Were Victorious." It appears the stamp's message is premature; they were 988 years short of the much vaunted 1000 Year Reich!
