The technical support department at FVDES
provides assistance for student computer questions
and difficulties. The school has the services of 2
full-time, fully trained and certified technicians.
John Fuhrmann, lead technician, is an Apple
certified technician who works with our school
computer loan program. Tim Mastin, works with the
Microsoft Windows and Macintosh platforms. The
technical support department mission is to assist
students in being as successful in their CoNNect
coursework as possible.
Our
technicians are available to support FVDES students
with many computer technical support issues:
Questions and technical support issues
related to the Apple Macintosh computers of the
school computer loan program at FVDES. This
program provides over 100 up-to-date iMac and
iBook computers to students for a fully
refundable $100.00 deposit per school year.
Questions and technical support issues
related to digital cameras, and other computer
peripherals that have been provided by FVDES to
students.
Questions and technical support issues
related to CoNNect software applications such as
vClass, FirstClass, and AppleWorks on both the
Macintosh and Windows platforms.
Important Note: Other than the
CoNNect software applications, FVDES is unable to
provide additional technical support for students
using home computers, home computer networks,
peripherals / software. Please contact your
Internet / computer / peripheral / software /
operating system vendors for further support.
